New York, New York - Moving to our new floating home
As the New York summer started it was time for us to move to Zenitude leaving our house in Bloomfield to their new owners.
It was a big task but it was done over several weekends and long hours days while we were still working. But it was all done before the end of July and we were finally ready to start enjoying our new home.
Zenitude was docked in Lincoln Harbor Yacht Club and we were surprised to find how many people were living in their boats many of them going thru freezing winters on their floating homes. They didn't seem to mind and they were happy to be on the water.

Lincoln Harbor Marina has a perfect location on the Hudson River just across New York City, with fantastic views, day or night. It is close to transportation and the marina has excellent facilities.
We enjoyed our time there, had a chance to sail around New York harbor on weekends, friends came frequently to visit. By the end of the summer we were ready for our upcoming departure towards the South.
